‘By Knowledge Design and Understanding’
While Rome may have not been built in a day; it might be fair to imagine that if such a plan of development were to exist in the last half a century that it might have looked a little like Milton Keynes.
In the years that followed the devastation of the Second World War the New Town solution was created to rebuild Europe, and ease the congestion in tightly packed cities that had recently lost large chunks of infrastructure.
Prior to this, such a feat of construction had never existed.
Now fifty years later Milton Keynes has stood as the test of time, and this weekend they will be celebrating with inclusive free or low cost city-wide cultural heritage activities including Open Days, Walks, Family Fun days, talks, exhibition, and much more.
If last year is anything to go by its going to be great!
