Europe Day! Glasgow George Square

Europe Day celebrated throughout the continent remains an opportunity to bring various communities together, celebrating peace and community.
This year the European Commission Office in Scotland will be celebrating Europe Day in Glasgow George Square.
The Cabinet Secretary for Culture, Tourism and External Affairs, Fiona Hyslop MSP, and the Lord Provost of Glasgow, Cllr Eva Bolander, are due to open the celebration.
Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain will promote their country, culture and language. Scotland and Member States will also showcase their countries through musical and dance acts.
At One o’clock Hipsway will be playing a set for the attendees of Europe Day. Now in the bands 34th year – its sure to be a blast!
