Glasgow’s Traditional Shopfronts

March 29, 2018 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

The Architectural Heritage of Society of Scotland is holding a tour of Glasgow’s traditional Shopfronts.

Participants will be guided by Iain Wotherspoon along the city pavements, illustrating some of our finest (and under-rated) streetscape assets of Glasgow.

Among our Victorian and Edwardian shopfronts, Glasgow has a unique character on the European stage.

The day will explore topics including researching shopfronts, architecture of Co-operatives, shop interiors and their maintenance and the future of the High Streets.

Refreshments will be provided during the day, please let us know of any dietary requirements at the time of booking.
